I weave networks and relationships throughout the Black diaspora and on the African continent.
I amplify, celebrate, and expand Black and African art, culture, and history by organizing curated travel experiences and exchanges for arts and social justice enthusiasts, leaders, and networks across the United States and Africa.
I am an avid world traveler, having visited over 50 countries, including 12 in Africa. Everywhere I go, I seek experiences of arts, culture, and history that take me off the beaten path and connect to contemporary conditions.
Drawing on experience and research, I provide coaching, tools, and practical support to ambitious and multifaceted leaders seeking long-term growth, relevance, and impact. Well-supported leaders—like you—mean stronger Black and Brown arts institutions, communities, and ecosystems for all of us.
Annual Group Tour to Lagos, Nigeria
This itinerary immerses travelers in the art, culture, and history of Lagos—a dynamic West African city dating back to the 15th century. The tour includes meetings with artists, collectors, and historians, as well as visits to museums and galleries as well as markets, bookstores, and fashion houses. It will culminate at Art X Lagos, the continent’s most exciting art fair.
Cultural Exchange & Fellowships
While business and government leaders have a history of traveling to connect with counterparts and local people across geographies, arts and social justice leaders enjoy few opportunities for such learning and exchange, especially across the African diaspora. In collaboration with foundations, institutions, and networks, I aim to design and organize trips of mutual exchange, learning, and immersion.
